Automated call supposedly from Amazon, asking me to press certain numbers, knew straight away it couldn t be Amazon, so put the phone down after five seconds or so.

This number has called twice, ive not answered as I don t know anyone in that area

several calls in the last 48 hours, all with strong accents and who hang up as soon as you ask any questions - general nuisance

Tesco only phone from this number if there is an issue relating to your card activity. If in any doubt they will ask you to phone the number on your credit card.

First they called tried to confirm that the were speaking to the person they were calling for. Annoyingly they would read back my address. Then they would ask if they could do a short survey. another time they have an Indian accent and sometimes they have an English accent. Sometimes Indian man. The English accent one wanted to know if there was central heating in the house. she went straight into the question despite me telling her she had the wrong name and number. I have received 37 calls and counting since 12:37 pm yesterday. No one ever speaks just repeated calls all day & all night.

Gonna keep this up till they answer me. If you are wise - DO NOT PICK UP A CALL FROM THESE FOOLS

I?ve just had a call from this number. I get this type of thing every few days from other numbers. Everyone should just stop answering and making 0845 calls, then perhaps then the Telco?s who make money out of this sort of thing may actually do something about scam calls.
