5 calls in less than a week!! got to be a telepest as never leaves a message!! we have no dealing with anyone in Bishop Stortford!

I had a guarded conversation with the caller who, as mentioned above, was calling on behalf of the RSPCA. Apparently he wanted to confirm details for Gift Aid purposes, which raised suspicion in my mind as there are always boxes to tick when completing donation forms for any charity. He did have my name and postcode already and was very polite, but clearly working from a script. I have not ever donated by text.

I tried to book a room at The Principal Oxford Spires Hotel, Abingdon Road, OX1 4PS, Oxford and called a number 08448542910 indicated on their website. I had to call twice as there was an automated telephone service and no one was able to answer my phone calls. Last month I saw a charge of 1.38 GBP plus VAT on my phone bill!! What a wrong way to make money!! Looks like the hotel is doing that badly so they have to charge potential customers to simply book a room. According to the reviews on the above number

They were asking did I have PPI, and asking me about a potential claim. They have called me twice, and twice I have told them not to phone me or this number again. They just hung up.

I was called by someone called Chelsea from carephone who offered me an upgrade phone. She also gave me the number 08448933933 if I had any problems. I did receive the phone but didnt like it. I phoned the number and gave up after 57 minute being on hold. Called to say I had orderd a new sim card, told him I hadn t, he said he was from O2, and that they could save me money, told him that I had the best tariff, He had an irish accent, and then OK and hung up. Dont think this is o2.

This company has called me several times over a period of months. After the first 3 calls I told them in no uncertain manner that I was fed up with their calls and not to call again. However the same number calls me regularly, despite the fact that I never answer now. Surely this is harassment?
