Asked me for my address, which they said was wrong, and kept asking for my previous addresses, saying it will be a previous address and can I confirm my previous addresses. Declined to give them anything further - asked them what it was about, they declined to say anything except "an account" and asked for my username. No idea what he was on about and asked him what username - started getting snotty saying I should
Does relate to an account setup. It s a company relates to crypto and it s a courtesy call. Caller is actually in Cyprus not London Dodgy number but thanks BT for allowing such things legal but misleading. Call genuine.

Been getting a few calls from this number over the last month, got fed up and answered, all I got was a robot voice saying goodbye before the call disconnected. Was pretty creepy and in general didn t appreciate all the attempts. From what I ve heard these guys are scam artists who atleast have access to vodaphone customer s information, though I m on orange, not the only one on this network to recieve a call from this number, so they most likely have access to their customer database aswell.

SCAM!!Got an email under the pretence that it was my boss! It then asked me to go out and buy 10 copies of £100 gift cards (£1000 total) as presents for the staff. When I asked about payment he proceeded to ask me to pay for it out of my own cash and I would be reimbursed. I told him I didn’t have that kind of money lying about and he told me to just get what I could. He was also VERY insistent on this being a secret surprise. Thank god I realised this was a scam but I worry about others falling for this
