Very official sounding assets and collections they where investigating me for fraud, I declined to give any details about myself, advised I would receive a letter, I rung the number back and enquired who they where and who they where collecting on behalf of, not so aggressive when you ring them! Rather nasty scare tactics, I have reported it to debt collection charities.

I have managed to confirm that calls from this number are from a company debt management company called Stephenson Drake (www.stevensondrake.com. They operate by automated cold calling your number. You will either hear silence or a message asking if you are having problems with debt. If you press 5 to speak to someone then you are cut off BUT your number is stored and you will receive a follow up call from them. Not a very clear line, callers voice kept coming & going. Selling electricity. Strong foreign accent & come out with weird comments that sounded something like your wife is beautiful - very odd. Not the sort of call you d expect or want at a business!

Then if you are daft enough they get you to open a command prompt window and log onto their website - result yhey have your computer and bye bye to lots of money
