Missed the call, anyway, before seeing these comments. "Looks like a premium rate number" Sorry, but you re mistaken. 01, 02, 03 are all classed as national rate calls (apart from Channel Islands, Isle of Man) and 03xxx are business numbers. 0845 and 0870 numbers very widely being changed to 0345 and 0370 numbers so they are included in most calls packages (including from mobiles). Only 1899.com and 18185 (cheap call services when dialling using those prefixes before a number) are not including 03x

Came up as international then with an obvious spoof copycat area number. Glasgow isn t international if you are in Scotland. Not a problem- now blocked all international numbers using call blocker. Phone is on do not disturb 24/7 so if you aren t recognised then you don t get through. Heads I win, tails I win.

Called saying they were local radio and I should choose 3 songs. I asked how he got my number, he replied I had been selected (???!) So I said I had selected to register with the Telephone Preference Service and if he calls my number again I will report him :) We ll see...

I was stupid enough to try to return this call. Automated message didn t tell me who the company was and put me in a queue so I hung up.

They have called me 8 times today, fortunately because I have them on my blacklist they ve not got through. However it must be very annoying for those that don t have that facility. If you re reading this CPR: I M NOT INTERESTED. However if someone tries the same number 8 times in one morning they must be desperate for business. Probably company is failing and needs CPR. Got a call from someone today claiming to be from trada even though we do not have regular dealings with them and they have no reason to call. Asked to speak to my director when i said he was no available said he would send an email and call back. Wouldn t say what it was for or anything. Keeps calling, very annoying.
