Automated call TAXES / HMRC SCAM ?
SCAM - caller claimed to be from British Gas wanting to book me in for a boiler service. She didn't ask for anyone here by name so I didn't engage, just ended the call & blocked the number. I rang British Gas using the genuine number from their website - they confirmed that no-one's called me today.

Called me 6 times in the past 3 weeks. I have missed all the calls as they happened when I am working. They have never left me a message which makes me assume either dodgy or cold calling. After reading other people's comments below I have blocked the number - if it is green peace as some suggest then I have no idea how they have got my number. I have never donated to Greenpeace however I may well have signed petitions but I don't think you usually give out your phone number when you sign a petition

Automated call sounds real but they have left the exact same message word for word with the exact same voice inflection every day for a week.
SCAM - Caller was offering me a job but had no idea who I was or what the job was about, claimed to have obtained my number from a business to business website. No experience neccessary as full training would be given.......caller probably from Asia, quite difficult to understand

I am marking this as a potential scam. Called from 'tax advisory group', saying I was owed money from HMRC. But they couldn't tell me how much or my home address. this number called me at 16.54pm on my mobile, lovely indian girl called laura couldnt get out what she was saying for laughing, i then said to her to behave herself, she then hung up the phone, suspisiously not even 30secs later this number phoned 02081234648 twice within seconds of each other, but luckly my mobile blocked the second number as suspected spam, think both numbers are linked
I purchased some items from this lovely lady and she was absolutely fabulous, she kept in contact with me and helped with all my struggles finding her property as it was in a renote location and i dont no leeds very well, trusted 100%
