Got a call claiming to be from BT Openreach saying our IP Status had been changed from Private to Public and our internet was going to be cut off. It was a very poor quality line in a foreign call center. They weren't able to give me any other details so I ended the call.
They texted me as if they were CV library however they tried asking me for my bank account details via a text. This is the text they sent: Benefit and requirement - Work week - 6 days (600USDT) - Only 30-60 minutes of work per day - Flexible hours and location (can be arranged by yourself) - Must be 21 years old or older - Training will be provided - Bank account required for salary purpose Never give any personal information away via text. Always use an official website.

100% trustworthy because no-one has said otherwise yet????? Thats hardly a way to grade something. Maybe its 100% Scam but no-one has said otherwise. Other websites say its Indian call centres asking for details claim to be EE or o2 or Virgin so that doesnt sound very authentic does it - and if you havent asked for Indian call centres to call you its spam and a likely fraud

This is my personal mobile number and has been spoofed. So it's definitely a scam. Don't fall for whatever they are offering you, it won't end well.
Asian gentleman called saying he is from BT open reach suggesting I have a problem with my internet as they are seeing errors from it. He demanded I install team viewer quick support app on my iPad to takeover my iPad remotely to resolve the issue. Of course I said no and stopped the conversation … clearly a scam as BT would never ask for this …

It says this is Clearanswer, a marketing company and one of BTs partners.....comments from the general public seem to suggest otherwise. A very foreign voice suggested my BT contract was coming to an end. I don’t discuss new contracts with a cold caller. When I said it wasn’t due to be renegotiated she hung up...not the sort of thing a genuine person would do.

I kept asking her for her details but she then asked me if I had a mobile phone. A SCAM - be very careful as the person on the phone will try to get you to download a programme called "anydesk.com" which gives remote access to your computer. In my case the person said he was from SKY and was checking on my report on bad internet signal (that part was true). He took me through a few dialogue boxes (thankfully I knew that I was not changing settings). He then tried to get me to download the programme. Thankfully I questioned it. He hung up. Scammer/Junk: Said he was from EE and said they had a 35% discount, which is odd because I had just upgraded with EE. Then asked me how much I paid on my last bill, to which I said 'well if you are EE you should know' - Upon which he got sheepish and hung up. Caller ID says it is from Bodmin. This is not someone from EE yet are touting themselves as if they are, as such this is fraud.
Strongly suspect fraud/scam as recorded voice from unnamed bank said unauthorised transactions had been made against my card.

SCAM Indian woman pretending to be BT saying that there were multiple unknown IP addresses connected to our internet. Tried to get me to go into the terminal of my computer and started inserting ridiculous stuff. As soon as I asked BT to email me officially and we take it from there, she went silent and hung up.

Appears to be a phishing scam. I got an ebay order confirmation for an item I did not order. This number was given for reporting fraudulent purchses. t sounds like an Indian caallcentre, and they attemted to get me to download Anydesk, in order to access my computer!!
This one ended in 5932 is one of many calls I receive from 0203 807 xxxx. The call just rings a couple of times and then hangs up. If I try to call back the below numbers, it says "User Busy".
