Just noticed this number on my Vodafone call list at a cost of £2.82 for 0 seconds!! Certainly don’t remember calling this number and getting through to a human at Vodafone is virtually impossible unless you are prepared to set aside at least an hour of your time ????

A SCAM - be very careful as the person on the phone will try to get you to download a programme called "anydesk.com" which gives remote access to your computer. In my case the person said he was from SKY and was checking on my report on bad internet signal (that part was true). He took me through a few dialogue boxes (thankfully I knew that I was not changing settings). He then tried to get me to download the programme. Thankfully I questioned it. He hung up. The number he called from was 02036

A fridge was ordered from them by my friend on 23 September, she paid for the item, was givien an order number and tracking number but all is fake. Now the number is "unrecognised" when rang. Safe number Sky VIP. I ended up with a much better deal. The number 0800 862 0818 is genuine, but everyone should always consider if a number is spoofed - try to get them to tell you something about you that they know already. Eg if they ask for your email, tell them a fake one and see if they know it's fake. If they don't, they may not be genuine.

Asked if I'd got damp, cracked walls or any leaks at my home
this is from Northern Ireland, but when I call back it will not dial out it just cuts off
HMRC fake. Also aggressive answer phone asking me to talk to an agent (press1) or before legal action taken. I don't care if they are the real HMRC, send me a letter or deliver notice by plod.
SCAM told me they were from a financial well-being company then proceeded to ask me details like name etc. They'd already know that if genuine.
Claimed to be from RBS credit card fraud in relation to an SMS NHS Covid phishing attempt on my phone. Appeared plausible and had some detailed info on my account transactions, however, when calling the number on back of my card, they said they had no record of a call from RBS. Suspect they were trying to obtain additional information to also obtain on line banking log in.
