SCAM Pretended to be from council housing management but hung up when asked which council he worked for.

SCAM I was out when this number called. They did not leave a message on my answer phone but the number was recorded on my incoming call information system. Using a recall system it was found the number had become non-existent and was therefore no longer traceable. This would indicate that it is from a SCAM telephone number/company. This number called claiming we had poor internet connection, very persistent insisting I go into my emails whilst he was on the phone. Our connection only checked the day before was fine. Be aware of this.

SCAM it was a automated message in a american accent voice that claimed it was from hmrc and it tries to fear you into thinking your in trouble and it wants you to press 1 to contact a officer which more than likely you probably shouldnt do, hang up and block them instead.

They say from Quick books, but want to give details on computer, spam/fraud.

SCAM - caller claimed to be from British Gas wanting to book me in for a boiler service. She didn't ask for anyone here by name so I didn't engage, just ended the call & blocked the number. I rang British Gas using the genuine number from their website - they confirmed that no-one's called me today.

I think this is a scam call pretending to be 02. They send you a code via text and then ask for the code to be able to access your account online. The security says to no give the code to 02 staff, soo if they are real why are they asking for the code to apply supposed discount!!!

Had a text message to say I along with 3 others had won £750 with a link to see more, did not click, obviously a cloned number as it comes with +44 prefix

Pretty sure this is a scam number I’ve had the exact same call before asking for me to read out a code from a text I’d get sent from O2 put the phone down and called o2 myself and they said it was a scam

Automated call about bank cards being used. Enough to worry. wanting you to press for a connection to stop. VERY SUSPICIOUS.

Received text claiming to be about my unsuccessful Evri delivery and to follow the link to schedule a new delivery slot. Never used Evri in my life. Smart scam - everyone is busy this time of year and can perhaps forget what packages they’re waiting to be delivered.

Cynical call, a day after receiving a SSE dividend, an unsolicited call from the USA about my share holding. An Indian sounding person, in a call centre, who had to asked on whose behalf he was calling. Then said it was some form of financial company. As if one would talk about your shares to an unknown person, acting for an off-shore company. Initially he was trying to make me believe he was connected to SSE.

Claimed to be from EE offering me 33% off my mobile bill. Red flags: I’m not with EE, awful background noise on his call, calling me Ma’am and starting his sales pitch without even checking who I was. Hung up and blocked the number

Foreign woman spoke very fast, hard to understand and hung up when I asked her why she had rang.

Claims to be from Santander, definitely isn't. Just ignore. Apparently they wanted to check some activity on my card, which was interesting as I don't bank with Santander.
