Fraud Got a phone call from this number. I answered the call and nobody answered for about 20 seconds. Then a very thick Indian accent said "Hello, this is Jenny from BT Openreach.....". I replied "No your not...your a scammer" and hung up. I know and live in this dialing code and there are no BT Openreach offices in this area. Given the accent and that it is BT Openreach (which I don't even use) I suspect this is an Indian based scam call centre.

Man calling about a medical pendant. May have been harmless but he was very evasive when I asked where he got my phone number (we're not on any lists and don't get cold-called much). He seemed to be reading from a script and looking up the answers, as there were long gaps between my asking a question and his reply. I told him I was going to hang up and did so.

Someone calling himself Steven from Security Awareness Scotland supposedly offering a free home security system in exchange for information about domestic circumstances He made some excuse and apologised when I told him he shouldnt be calling as Ive been registered with TPS for years I dont know what sort of scam it is but sounds extremely dodgy anyone who is security aware should just hang up Number now blocked and reported to ICO

First half the call I thought I was talking to a real person, said they were from some housing repair scheme and said I'd submitted a damage claim. SCAM Got 2 calls today, first one at 8am with a man with a indian accent who wasn't sure what name to call the caller and second one a woman more confident but as soon as I said that I was going to report her number at Action Fraud she started to panic. I made her believe that she was recorded and she change her tone of voice to terminate the call asap. Seems that they only hire Indian people behind this number.
