Message said 'you have been called by synergy consumer club - press 1 to talk to an advisor or press 2 for your number to be removed' it then hung up. I've naturally opted out so will wait and see what happens. Doubt it would work if I had witheld my number so I allowed my number to be visible.

Calling about a 'recent car accident' I reported to my insurance company. When I said I haven't they hung up. I have 15 years no claims....
This number is apparently used for telemarketing. The caller makes an unsolicited call (I do not know where did they take my number), says he is from "Trader Education", proposes to talk on financial markets, and would have proceeded to make marketing offers if he had not been refused and stopped by me.
