Had 3 calls over the last few days from various numbers all starting with the same dalling code, 01926. As this is the code where we live, answered the first call - no immediate response but after a few seconds, over a very crackly line, what sounded like a well spoken middle aged white lady, said something along the lines of 'suspicious transactions on my account, one for £300 odd & the other for £1,400 odd & I must do certain things at which point I hung up. Second call in 2 days. Appears to be An Amazon Prime scam. Delay on the phone line, then message kicked in regarding renewal of Amazon Prime and to press button 1 to speak to service manager. Hung up as I don’t have Amazon Prime.
I received a pre-recorded message from this number claiming that an unauthorized payment has been taken from my Amazon account and that an unauthorized international transfer has taken place from my bank account. I believe this to be a SCAM so, beware!!

The text message received from this number on 14/02/2024 at 12:13 simply read: "Got it (thumbs up emoji)" No other content and this number is not in my phone book nor was I expecting any messages like this from anyone.
