Fake Windows Technical Services call, as usual wanted to show me all the viruses and malware on my computer. "Whenever you browse your Google, it picks up the viruses and malware and we can remove them". Clueless. Refused to follow his instructions, so he threatened to "block my computer". Oh no. Just got a call from this number asking for someone with the correct surname and initial but different first name. I said they had the wrong number; she then asked me if we lived at an address that I d never heard of; I said no; so she asked me if we lived in an area without mains gas supply; I said no. She thanked me for my help, and that was it. I have no idea what it was all about???

This is a new, and weird, one for me. Called my landline but disconnected when I picked up (now they know this is a live number,,,damn!!). No message left so I'll never know if I have been left millions of pounds from an unknown benefactor who needs me to handle his money, for a small fee, to help them evade paying local taxes or being claimed by a fictional Government department.
