called. Prerecorded message saying they were investigating a tax fraud crime on behalf HMRC. Hung up and blocked number. If HMRC want to contact you - they will do so by letter.
Automated call sounds real but they have left the exact same message word for word with the exact same voice inflection every day for a week.
Call centre. Had the wrong name. Hung up claiming a wrong number had been dialled. Now blocked.

Could not pronounce my name and offered a discount on all my white goods as I hadn't claimed in the last 6 months..... Had my address and postcode then for their records asked for Bank sort code ..... you can guess what said then !

BEWARE..these are scammers trying to get you to call their ‘bank helpline’ to check about apparently unauthorised debits from your bank account. I hate people who do this. The automated female voice is realistic but banks never do this sort of stunt. BEWARE!

Today, told them again and said I was sick of getting these call. Superb sales man told me that I should " get F- - - K ING used to it ". SCAM Unusually, this was actually an English person on the other end of the phone rather than a call centre setting from India etc! The number rang my works mobile at 10:05 09/05/2023. The person on the other end spoke very well and professional, saying that they were calling from HSBC, and were making me aware of activity in my account that looked suspicious, that money was being taken out by an advertising firm.
