I had a call from 01491476930 which is local to me. The voice message informed me there were two transactions on my card which looked suspicious and that I should dial 1 to speak to an adviser. This sounded very much like a scam so I put the phone down. If my bank had found a suspicious transactions, their fraud team would contact me. This may be a genuine call but I would rather be safe than sorry and will investigate myself rather than speak to a potential scammer.

SCAM purportedly from your bank stating that the fraud department has noticed two fraudulent transactions on your account, the first from Amazon in the sum of £700 didn’t need to listen to the second one. My bank do not use a Manchester address and certainly wouldn’t use a pre recorded message.BEWARE
Got a text from this number after being told by tsb I would recieve it. Thought it was strange as it was a mobile number so I called tsb and they confirmed that it was their fraud department and its genuine
Flagged as scam on Samsung so did not pick up. Have a business phone so would not expect personal life insurance call. Honestly, GDPR was a waste of time, penalising honest businesses but scammers and thiefs are safe? Just don't pick up a number you don't know, why would your Insurance call you? They never do.

SCAM Recorded voice saying that my bank account had been requested to pay Amazon £700 and some other organisation £2000!! Press 1 to authorise, and 2 to speak to a customer representative. I declined both options and checked my account online to find, surprise, surprise, there were no such transactions.
Has rung me 5 times in the past 2 days. I have not answered any of the calls and no message has been left. I have now blocked the number.

Call claimed to be from Vodafone retentions department promising me a 40% discount, asked me a bunch of security questions and then asked me to read him the code from a password reset email that he had triggered on my Vodafone account. This apparently would enable him to send me the priority app so I could access 5G calls and VIP features. Alarm bells at this point. I said I'd call him back then checked with Vodafone. They confirmed that this is not a number they use and not to give out any information. SC

This pervert was sending disgusting text messages to my partner over a period of months despite the number being blocked, he used different apps to bypass. When challenged he blocked me without any response. How he got my partner’s number is still a cloudy one, but we in the Trans community do not make a habit of encouraging men to “slap us in the face with a (male chicken)” as a form of alarm clock. This company re sale web domains at inflated prices, access your details online with no prior connection. They was operating under a different name, I guess went bust and setup again. They gave me two names of companies hosting my domain, neither of them was correct, seems like a chancer.
