I have caller display and never answer a call with a number I don t recognise. TPS is useless as these scam merchants don t use the listings anyway, and TPS cannot do anything about it. ICO doesn t seem to do much either. Simply let it ring... my answer-phone kicks in after twenty rings and is completely blank. I know who might call me and which calls I will answer.

This number is Santander. They contacted me when I tried to make a large transaction via Western Union and needed to confirm it was me. I was successfully able to make the transaction after the call. Very helpful.

Lady said she was calling from Coastal and asked for me by name. Before I confirmed I asked what the call was about and she told me i was playing a very silly game. Avoid at all costs.

I need to know if these people are scammers I I answered the phone and the lady called and said that it is regarding an insurance taken out on a television Three years ago.

The free phone number for 015244741226 is 08000 70 60 70. I suggest you put your mobile on don t send caller I.D and drive them mad!

A family member woith dementia was VERY rude to a telemarketer and we are now on their repeat list. TPS will do nothing as UClaim4Me insist that they received my invitation to call and in any case are only "advising" us of a "service" they offer. This comes up as a Liverpool number .of is a company dealing with PPI. Very polite young man who was straight to the point regarding what the call was for. After asking a few questions, the usual ones about whether I d had any loans, credit cards, catalogues etc, he said he would get the system updated so that they didn t call again. Just about the most polite call I ve ever had regarding PPI!!
