Silent call received from 07943011564: I received a call from this number just now. I didn't answer and within seconds, the caller hung up. It could have been a scam or a nuisance caller, I'm not sure, but it's the second of these that I've received today. Phoned the number back and the 'phone is switched off.

This number rang on 09/03/23. When I answered, the call just ended. This number rang again on 10/03/23. The caller had a South Asian accent, knew my name and enquired about the car accident I'd had. I responded that this would be the car accident I hadn't had and told him to stop wasting my time. There was a fairly insincere 'apology' that he'd been given the incorrect details.

Call from Horizon Travel, apparently responding to a request I'd made to their website (I hadn't). Offering free accommodation for 2 nights, but need to pay for breakfast. This comes up as a Liverpool number .of is a company dealing with PPI. Very polite young man who was straight to the point regarding what the call was for. After asking a few questions, the usual ones about whether I d had any loans, credit cards, catalogues etc, he said he would get the system updated so that they didn t call again. Just about the most polite call I ve ever had regarding PPI!!

Man called - said his name was Sean Cruz - said he was from the Citizens Advice - got my details from the Office of Fair Trading. Said his address was 24 Lancashire!! I pressed him more, said his address was 24 Heather Ave, Lancashire, 208 001 Tried to get details out of me, I would not confirm anything. Told him I was registered with TPS and he should not be calling. He told me he s been getting away with these calls for years and TPS were useless. Automated call to do with national insurance number says to press 1 to speak to someone but they will only try to phish for personal details or will try and get money out of you.
On TPS but it doesn t stop these scum. The directors of the company making the calls are: Paul Lord (home address: 46a Nowell Road, Middleton, Manchester, M24 6FL) and Richard Cooper (home address: 6 Reed Close, Farnworth, Bolton, BL4 7EF). Have fun writing to them to tell how much you appreciate their calls.
