It's a scam. I called back because it was local Aberdeen number, once they mentioned accident in my family I knew it is a scam. Best thing to do, just block the number.

People did someone answer this number? I had few missed calls from this one, probably some call centre robocaller testing my number? I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. I am also in Norway. I answered most of the questions, as they seemed harmless (e.g. age-group and whether I have a house or not), but I refused to pronounce my name or to give my e-mail address. I suspect the Indian guy recorded the conversation and may try to edit my answers to make a fake agreement about something.
Claiming to be HMRC AND THAT THERE IS A CASE AGAINST ME FOR CRIMINAL CHARGES DUE TO TAX EVASION ....... the guy with Asian accent claiming to be named David Brown, when he asked me about my name I told him he should be able to tell my name then he hanged up the phone.
