SCAM pretending to be HMRC - saying an arrest warrant would immediately be issued if I do not press 1 to speak to an adviser.
Number called and when answered line was silent. Called back and nobody picked up.
Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. I asked them where they got this information from - they said they purchased these details from a company and had got them as I had registered the accident but hadn t claimed anything. SCAM; This is an scam NHS site which tricks you into paying for a certificate and maybe tries to steal your bank funds. Newcastle NHS has already issued a warning and says the site has already been taken down but its clearly risen again via this tel #. Don't touch it.

Following up a comment that this number might be Friends of the Earth, I emailed FoE and was told the number is a fund-raising agency called Listen, used by FoE. At my request FoE has deleted my number. I suggest that anyone who keeps getting calls from this number also contacts FoE via the Contact Us form on the website, to ask for their phone details to be removed so no more calls are received.
