Anyone reporting this number as dangerous is a Swansea University staff member forwarding their office phone calls to their personal mobile phone, as the calls will appear as if they were from the university when the staff member receives the call. This is a Swansea University switchboard number.
First they called tried to confirm that the were speaking to the person they were calling for. Annoyingly they would read back my address. Then they would ask if they could do a short survey. another time they have an Indian accent and sometimes they have an English accent. Sometimes Indian man. The English accent one wanted to know if there was central heating in the house. she went straight into the question despite me telling her she had the wrong name and number. They asked to speak to me by name,when I said this was she, they said they "understood that I was looking for a personal pension review....? " I replied no they asked "Oh have you had one already ?" when I responded no and I don t know how you got this number they said "Oh I m sorry I ll have your number and details removed....." I hung up.
This number says there is odd behaviour on your computer and asks if you have had Noticed it then starts asking for details the person on the phone language is foreign And seems hesitant when asking questions obvious a scam just put the phone down.

Claim to be from BT regarding my Internet connexion. When I said I am not with BT the Indian voice became very agitated and starting shouting at me as though I am an idiot. Calls to our (call screened, not on BT) number from 0800 044 5265. No message left, multiple attempts on multiple days. Calling that 0800 number says they are Stellar a partner of BT, and to call BT on 0800 028 2272. Don t bother if you aren t on BT. They ll tell you "you aren t on BT, we have no record of you!". Useless. A websearch for Stellar suggests 01294 225300. Calling that number: 1) they confirm the 0800 044 5265 caller ID is them calling on behalf of BT. 2) They ll remove our number from
