Purported to be Virgin Media reviewing your account to provide the best possible service. They fail on DPA/GDPR as don't seem to understand the principles of validating they are speaking to the account holder. They don't have access to account information such as account numbers, billing area codes etc.

Received a woman’s voice message from Careline leaving a message for me by my first name. Stating I should phone back about my brother mentioned by his first name. Phoned back several times., but got no reply. However, it turned out that my family member had been taken to hospital. He was on an emergency system at his home as he lives alone. Has to make own enquiries to verify message was not a scam.

They always call me while at work, and each time I tell them I have no time for their survey. They refuse to accept that and insist it will be very short and just proceed with their survey. Received call from 01514530876, Liverpool number, I did not recognise so didn’t answer, immediately after letting it ring off got a call from 01233542584, Ashford number, which stopped within a second of calling, seems like a spam dialer.
Foreign female caller said they wanted to refund me £198 for money incorrecty taken from my account for a washing machine service. This is a scam.
SCAM Automated recording with callback function claiming to be HMRC stating that my tax form was wrong. Well I'm severely disabled and cannot work so I don't pay tax. I recommend just hanging up on this number as I expect the callback number to be a premium rate line.
