I never get these kinds of calls. But I had this number calling me today and yesterday (2 & 3 June 2020) with a recorded message claiming to be from BT and informing you that your internet will be cut off in 24 hours due to suspicious activity on your account. On the 3rd time they called, I actually pressed "1" to "speak to a consultant" and asked them to remove my number from their list. They then just hung up on me. Hopefully that will be the last of that! :-)

Apparently, my Internet connection is unsecure and they are calling to tell me they will disconnect in 4hrs. When challenged - the lady caller wanted me to push combination of keys on keyboard but by this time I was so frustrated that she hung up because I must have sounded rude. She wanted to show me why/how my connection was insecure. -Didn't give her the chance - being described the CTRL / ALT / DELETE buttons as though I'm a child is not acceptable. Received call from the number and they were offering me Free Holiday for 7 days and one night free accommodation in Manchester. They told I was chosen randomly from their office. Before they could ask anything more I told I am not interested as this sounds too good to be true and at the end I might end up wasting time and might give some valuable information.
Be careful when handling phone calls with this number. Will scam you if you follow it through for £99.49, which falls under the threshold for a section 75 refund.
