TAXES / HMRC Automated message. Had similar before. “This is HMRC. You are under investigation for tax fraud. Press 1 immediately to speak to your case officer. I keep getting calls from this number:- +441616673230. Typically, they ring off before I can answer. I ve tried ringing back and a recorded message tells me "not to worry" and that they will call me again later. There are three Google pages about this number and no-one knows any more than I do!

Automated voice stating they where calling from HMRC and that there was a fraudulent case against me and if I did not press 1 immediately then a warrant would be issued and I would be arrested. Firstly HMRC will never call you and secondly I am still waiting for the police to show up at my door and arrest me for nothing. Utter nonsense. Don't be fooled by these calls people.
