I had a call from this number who was looking for a Mr A........... I said WHY? They immediately hung up. I could not find who owned this number 01892 710593

Still not sure who called, rang it back as expecting contact with Brentford County Court, the call was answered by answer machine that said "Trying to connect you" then some music and then the line went silent so I cut the call when that happened and still no answer. Seems dodgy now but will see if they ring back.

This is the UK version of a scam running amok in the US. The supposed company, microsoftechs.com, contacts people and claims there is an issue with their computer. The claim to be partnered with Microsoft and gain confidence with all the classic scam talk. If you do get scammed, they will access your computer via remote access, go through your email, install software and who knows what else. I have been getting four to six calls from this number a day. If I answer, they hang up after a minute or two and do not say anything. It s harrassment and I d love to know how to get my number removed.

Who is this? Unknown number and 90 seconds of silence on voicemail. Three times in three weeks.

Rang on a number of occasions now despite being ex-d & registered with TPS. Claim to offer consumer discounts on retail goods & services. Complete nonsense. Very persistent in trying to obtain bank a/c details for a £1 payment towards a trial payment. ITS A SCAM - DO NOT DIVULGE ANY DETAILS.

These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... Mine was a survey which popped up whilst online and I had to wait 20secs inorder to dismiss that advert. Enduring the agonising 20 secs. Unsolicited call to my TPS registered telephone from a call centre. The call shut down seconds after answered the phone!

Its a company called Boomi , trying to sell me a cloud solution as they must have got my details from Linkedin. Genuine company , just telemarketing to I.T. people.
