A recorded message saying my IP address was compremised and to press 1 to resolve it. They did not any details about the caller. I hung up at this point.

I ve been getting regular calls from these scum. This number is now dead. Instead they re getting in via the web and it s coming up on my phone as 001036.

They are based on wharf industrial estate in bury, Manchester and Blackburn. The staff who call have no idea, nor choice of who they ring as the system selects a number at random from their data, and only when the line opens do they see your name and address etc. They are legitimate in terms of what they are offering (a free hearing frequency test at your local football club/hotel) however, if you will receive any money should a claim be successful is questionable. Fraudulent - same pattern as other posts - asks for quote. Went into branch and paid a cheque in for much more than the order value then requested reimbursement of difference. We did not fall for it because we smelt a rat. Total scammers DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE
