CALL CENTRE. From some supposed company called FAVOR TRADE. Typical Pakis and Indians using local numbers and English names. They say you’ve registered on their platform and then send you an email with their own password to login and tell you to change your contact information ( they created it ). BE CAREFUL. SCAM!!!
SCAM. The caller was a woman claiming to be based in Cape Town, South Africa. She further claimed to be from the energy company – E.ON – that supplies me with electricity. She knew or guessed my first name, and asked for confirmation of details of my name and mailing address. However, she did NOT ask for – nor did she receive – my e˗mail address, my account number, or any bank or credit card or debit card details. Furthermore, she did not ask for immediate payment. Have nothing to do with this number.

I have a Sky and 02 contract, different phones. I had a call from this number purporting to be 02 on my Sky phone; took me a while to realise! Offered me a 45% discount on my bill for 2 years with no catches??? Spoke in an Indian accent, very fast, so not easy to understand. Asked for my full name, which I queried as he was supposed to have my account records. However, not giving anything away, I did so but he misspelled everything. **SCAM** Same as last review - called from 'Vodafone' & said someone had changed my phone number. Recieved text with code during the call. I asked him to call me back in 30 mins, he said "why, are you busy"? He couldn't verify he was from Vodafone and said they'd send an email (not recieved an hour later..). Checked my Vodafone account and no activity. TBH I'm used to being ripped off by Vodafone but at least I can see it happening :)

Appears to be some kind of call centre. I could hear lots of calls in the background, not sure of the purpose of the call as no one spoke to me when I picked up.
Possible life Insurance scam, someone called me about life insurance and that terms had changed and i should move my policy to one of their others as i may not get any payout at the end of policy,they knew insurance provider, name d.o.b address,,this may well be real but i was not taking a chance as they sounded asian ( Sorry if this offends but most scammers seem to be asian etc,) ended call and blocked number, im sure my insurance company woud send me a letter advising me anyway.

I've got the call. When I picked up, some guy was laughing. Later a guy mentioned he was from my O2 provider company. I am not currently under contract with the O2. Then he laughed and hung up. I wasn't sure if this call was from a house with joking kids or if this was a real company. If that is a company, they have to have more attention to training their people to behave.
Said Hello then hung up. I will be blocking it anyway.

This number has been searched at least 1250 times, if not more. The POLICE are aware and need to identify these scammers, so the more it is reported the better the chance of catching them.
