I was trying to dig some info on the internet, don't want to call them back until I know who might be calling but no luck. Some idea who is it?

Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems) Folks did they call you with the same or something new?

Scouse woman got stroppy when I kept saying "Yes" to each question and told me they would keep calling back. Good good good you silly daft cow you are calling me on a phone set aside for this very purpose. The only way to stop these calls is to keep a personal attack alarm by the phone. I was plagued by these calls on my real mobile phone but the calls dried up soon enough. Then I started missing the calls so I set up another phone purely for cold call baiting. Received call from a withheld number claiming to be TalkTalk and said there was an issue with my router and needed to connect to my computer. Asked for a reference number and they gave me this number 020 81233558 to call back. Instead I called TalkTalk's number on their website who confirmed no-one fro TalkTalk had called me and this was a phishing scam.

Harassing and seems like phishing. Asking for home owner but wouldn't give a company or name. Just went on and on about speaking to homeowner.
Immediate update - I got an almost immediate reply to my emails and they say that although this is a one-off £10 charge for a 12-month reminder service for which they make it clear there is a charge (hmmmm) they will process an immediate refund via the Post Office. So easy that one can only infer that they receive many, many requests per day for refunds from people such as me who are totally unaware that they had signed up. Result! I emailed [email protected]
