Got a call from these cowboys claiming to be from BT regarding my internet and IP address. It's worth playing along with them if you've time to waste, then say you'll contact BT directly and they just disappear!
This was HA seeking PPI. Used local number. A nuisance call at best. Very polite call handler but also very insistent. Didn't want to take no thank you at all.

Called me late evening. The lady mumbled her name and the company she was calling from, quoted my full name and an address I lives in two years ago. When I said I didn't live at this address she said 'oh, sorry' and hung up.
Accident claims
I work at a bingo club in bedfordshire and while at work I have just received a call from this number. Upon answering a male with an asian accent said something I could not understand. I asked him to repeat what he said and he simply said "you had a car accident a while ago yes?" I politely told him that the number he has rang was in fact a bingo club. He hung up straight away. They began calling last year and I blocked them. Then they call from a different number. They started from a London number 020 something and then they began calling from my town 01308 294566. The last time was 25/02/16. I called the number back but an automated voice told me it was not an important financial matter and hung up. I m a disabled pensioner. It is either an educated young man or a young woman who tries to keep me on the phone and continues to ask me about accidents. I hung up on her.
