Government HMRC claiming and left voice mailing stating they are taking me to the County Court and I should call them. I called them and very noisy and not English speaking voice. Wanted my name, address and DoB. I put the phone down and they have called twice since. As I do not owe HMRC any monies, assume this is a scam. Can they not be stopped?

SCAM - a man with a accent asked my for 30seconds of my time, i asked who he was and what he wanted he gave me all my details and phone number and aske me to confirm which i said no, i asked him to remove me from the mailing list he said no, i told him i didn't want anymore phone calls and why couldn't he remove me, he said i can't tell you !! I told him he was disgusting being a scammer and he hung up, i have blocked the number !

Claims to be from EE promotions, I thought it was true as I did recently ask EE to call me as I was in the realm for an upgrade. I believe that this is the same scamming ambulance chasing company whose other numbers include the following 0207946 and various last four digits 1369 / 0364 /0996 1821 Have blocked them all and think they keep ringing on different numbers cos their victims keep blocking them

SCAM reporting to come from HMRC advising a warrant has been put out for an arrest and to press 1 to go through to who’s dealing with it - never asked for anyone by name just a machine. Highly unlikely HMRC would call they would write if there was a problem.
