Unknown as was blocked on my Android phone by Calls Blacklist PRO (any unknown number not whitelisted or in my contacts will be rejected to voicemail) NOTE that 0116 0xx may be a call centre (have to dial all the digits so may be used for 03xxx 08xxx 09xxx numbers and unusual to see in incoming call, so might have been error in config or a foreign scammer with made-up invalid number

I ve received a number of calls from 01384 009244. My system flagged them as potentially fraudulent.

They are based on wharf industrial estate in bury, Manchester and Blackburn. The staff who call have no idea, nor choice of who they ring as the system selects a number at random from their data, and only when the line opens do they see your name and address etc. They are legitimate in terms of what they are offering (a free hearing frequency test at your local football club/hotel) however, if you will receive any money should a claim be successful is questionable. Ambulance chasers. Called on pretence that it was about an accident I'd had a past 3 years. When I said the database he had was wrong, caller just hung up.

Someone rang today and I missed the call when I rang back it said no such number this has happened a few times and this number should be stopped as a nuisance call

I received two missed calls on same day from UK numbers (I am in Ireland with an Irish mobile) One already has a long complaint file against them on tellows.co.uk and was classed as a questionable recruitment company, but this one has no comments yet. However I did find this number on two other systems with comments about them trying to do a very persistent sale of Google Adwords and SEO services. I will be ignoring any further calls, particularly since they aren t leaving messages.
