I receive a text to say I ve missed their call, (i.e. every time they call!). Thing is, there was no call only the text message. I can confidently say that because my mobile had been in my pocket for 2hrs they hadn t called. Neither had they called on my landline, I ve been in all day.

These have pestered us numerous times-same no.different guises-well well dodgy! Yet cheeky g*ts have a BT 1471 call minder facility if you call back-saying their busy! Received a call offering a free tablet, declined as I did not believe they were calling from Vodafone themselves, and hung up. Then received a seemingly automated text message from Vodafone advising the call was genuine, but the grammar in the text was poor - "infact", "you wasn t sure", "removed you from our list of customer" - so I can t be sure if it is genuine. Surely a big company like that would check something so simple?

Having established that this is an Ipswich number and not knowing anyone with that number or who is on our contacts list I ignored it assuming that this was another cold caller....

Call & hang up when its answered, happened twice 2day (tues 29-1-13)

This number just called me asking for me by name I asked who was calling they said IT and something was wrong with my computer. At that point I put the phone down.

Answered and it just hung up.

If you see this no come up on your caller display 0161 814 7196 don t answer. They tried to sell me something to do with funeral plans and we re very rude, when it told them I wasn t interested

Has called me on my mobile sporadically for the past 4 months now. At first I tried to call it back and it just went straight through to on hold music. A voice said I would be connected to an agent as soon as possible, but I hung up after a minute or so. Checked my bill and it had charged me quite a bit to call back. Wouldn t trust.
