Called my landline, leaving a recorded message about sms text messages, offering various options. 1471 gives the number 0333 3440000, which refers to website www.a2l.com/a2l.text . This is a French company based in Toulouse. Definitely seems to be something to be skeptical of. Pressing options suggested in recorded message not advised.
