These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... Mine was a survey which popped up whilst online and I had to wait 20secs inorder to dismiss that advert. Enduring the agonising 20 secs. Company called to say I needed to renew the insurance for my sky equipment but I don t have sky, I think this is probably some sort of scam.
Caller claimed to be from Amazon about renewal of Prime Membership. Hurrah renewal price was much cheaper! Therefore not a very clever scam. Come on someone - shut them down!
