They want bank details over the phone to set up a direct debit to ensure your winnings go into your bank if you win ! After telling the man that I don't give out my bank details over the phone, he then said he would wait on the line if I wanted to get someone else's to use.. as if! 01587968462 this number called saying my IP address has been compromised, (my computer has erased the passwords so I thought this could be right) spoke to an operator almost immediately he told me it was someone in California using my IP address when we got to do you use internet banking I said no he then rudely hung up, this is a scam folks.

I have hsd this message on answer phone several times over the last couple of months. It says someone has tryed to take £300 out of my amazon account and transfer £1,200 to another country and wants me to contact them. I check my account and no money has gone. They are conmen looking to get my bank detailes.

Robotic call asked for details of recent transactions and asked me to confirm that they were legit (all via phone keypad. After I answered in the affirmative I was told that I could continue to use the card as usual. On trying to use the card a few days later, it was blocked! Two phone calls to their 'Helpline' later I now have to wait for them to send me a new PIN. Total farce!
