Call about insurance policy for domestic equipment (which isn't covered) expiring then telling you your current insurance you do have is quadruple in cost when it is for life of item covered.

Fraud. Pretending to call from HMRC. Didn't know my name. Told them if they're calling from HMRC the least they should know is my name. Call was supposedly from Liverpool too, not a Liverpudlian accent to be heard.

Was a bad line and the lady couldn't speak English all that well, said she was from "The Ombudsmen" - Scammer

Don’t answer calls don’t know who from and judging by the responses on silent calls/energy/insulation/sky scams glad didn’t. Received a witheld number and followed up with texyt purporting to be Wise QUERYING A PAYMENT REQUEST TO REVOLUT £1510.15 SIGNED BY Anthony Wilson Said it was a Trojan virus and wanted to know if I had any other Bank accounts reluctant to give any account information. Received another call from someone who said they hold a 20stake in the Fraud team and started getting very angry when I started to challenge him he wanted me to change my pin number. Fealt very threatened with the conversation.

Can barely speak English, doesn't know my name, doesn't know his own name, can't tell me what his is company is called but he wants my bank details.

VERY DODGY. Very very dodgy, I called back a couple times as well to get some information since they immediately wanted to cancel the call after hearing and same thing, just continuous call cancelled, somethings not right about these people

Automated call said they were from the bank and suspicious transactions had happened. They gave amounts (£1100 from Western Union and £700 from Amazon) and then told me to press 1 for ... etc. Fraud SCAM

SCAM Pretended to be O2, quoted the end of my own phone number they just called me on as 'proof' ???? Asked me if I had another number and something about a code, very hard to understand. As with other scam calls they don't speak until you say 'hello?'

Scammer. I received a call from this number claiming to be calling about a recent road traffic accident.

Supposedly hmrc but its a mobile number, very suspicious.

Just got a phone call from this number at 10:24am, 26/4/2023 stating that there has been 2 "international transactions" over £700 this morning. Don't believe it one bit considering its from an EE provided phone number. It then says to press 1 to cancel the transaction. I didn't press anything and just left it then it hung up.

This is either a scam or someone trying to sell something. When type the number in on google, it comes up with a man named Jake Stacey. This was also the name that came up on our office phones when we received the call. https://uk.linkedin.com/in/jake-stacey-727b49196 He asked to speak to my director (only using his first name only) I advised he was not available and that I would take a message etc. I asked what the call was regarding so I could make sure my director receives his call and it was about overs
