Second call from this outfit. This time I was offered up to 70% off of my existing debt which is better than the previous call (21 February) they made to my ex-directory, opted-out telephone number. Another complaint made to the ICO.
Claimed to be from "Alba Services", saying that "money has been allocated" for improving energy efficiency in homes. Told me that they got the phone number from a "homeowner database" but wouldn t give any further info. It must be a crap database as this is a newsagents shop.... Chancing scammers.

Fraud Saying my Nat ins number is suspended due to it being connected to an offence. Failure to press 1 and speak to an officer will lead to my national insurance number being suspended, not pressing 1. Outdoor also mean my assets are liable to be stolen. Three Further calls with same recorded message were made from theses numbers. 07584563 followed by 412, 707 and 412. These were over 2 days. I am hoping my service provider can help but not holding my breath.

When questioned how he had seen my details and what details and where he was based he said it was citizens advice in Manchester . I live in Somerset , I said goodbye and hung up. Somehow, prank calls giving this number have been coming to my business mobile. They are obviously being done randomly as only workmates know the number and none of them would be stupid enough to call late at night as has happened. Very annoying and could lead to a business call being missed.
