Called this morning, no one there and it hung itself up. Assuming auto-dialler from call center. Bloody nuisance.
This number called me in today on my landline at 12:45. I answered, they hung up. I rang back, it rang then disconnected. I live in Scotland, the number is from York. I used my mobile to call, same result. What was the point of the call if they have no intention of communicating. There is a point but I am left wondering what!

SCAM Pretended to be from BT Open Reach and told me my ROUTER was not connecting to the network properly. I told the Indian woman that no it won't be as its a Virgin Media Router connected to the independent Virgin Media Network! and it is working great! then I hung up.

This number contacted & said press 1 for legal help. This is 100% spam!
Caller didn't speak but is staying on the line for a long time. Not sure how this amounts to a scam - just a waste of lots of people's time I think.
I do not know this number, its location is given in a completely different part of the UK than the one where I live. I believe that it can be a dangerous connection. Be careful.

SCAM Said they were a claims company. Had my name, date of birth but had wrong address details. She claimed that I had used them to make a claim several years ago which isn't true. She said it may be so long ago I had forgotten using though them. It's not too long and I know I never have or will use claim companies or cold calls. Agree with anon. I told the lady not interested and don’t call back (not that I would really understand what she was saying). It then phones me back asking why I am not interested. This really pees me off and suffice told her to do one and hung up. She called again, ignored it and blocked it.

A cold call. Caller said that I had a problem with my internet for 3 weeks and his engineers were fixing the problem. Caller did not use my name or the name of my internet provider. Caller did not answer any of my questions but carried on reading from his script. I am sure that this was some sort of SCAM attempt. As usual I did not give the caller any information that would identify me or any account that I may have.

I attended interview with Irish water on April 2023. I got a call verified my name and disconnected. With Google, I found the landline number belong to Irish Water Leeds office.
This number is being used for fraud/scams. They call and accept you of tax fraud and demand payment to stop legl action. DO NOT TRUST THIS NUMBER. I HAVE REPORTED THIS NUMBER.
