I was cold called from this number by a female with a distinct Indian accent, who did not announce herself or why she was calling. When specifically asked she said her name was "Caroline" and purported to be from Carphone Warehouse, offering me a new mobile phone contract. However, the first question I was asked was about the phone I am currently using and my mobile phone provider. I had to repeat several times that I was not interested before she got the message and hung up.

HMRC called twice on 1/2/18 I was aware of it being a scam as it was reported in the Sun Newspaper and on the news that day. I tried ring the fraud squad but after a lenghtly wait on the phone was unable to contact anyone.I had been scammed 6 months earlier by same people when I was in a bad place and so vunerable.
Foreign female asked to speak to my long dead father and then my dead mother by her forename. Wouldn't say who was calling and became argumentative when I said that I considered it a nuisance call and that my number was registered with TPS
