This is a scam number as they have called my house phone number today saying my bank cards have 2 transactions going out,that are not recognised, little do they know my house phone number has never been given to anyone apart from my sister in law who lives abroad as we don't use it we use our mobiles. So this would not be linked to any of our banks, and its an auto mated message.

Scan call saying that they were from my bank and that over £300 had been taken out of my account to pay Amazon. I immediately, put the phone down and checked my balance. This was alot of rubbish. Advice ignore or report but do not respond or do anything else.

When the caller realised they weren't getting through to the MD they tried another shareholder by name (silent partner, assumed all information obtained from companies h
recorded message saying my card had been used today for suspicious payments of £300 and £1350 today. Then asked me to press 1to cancel payments and a couple of other options. I terminated the call. Obviously a fraud/scam as no indication of which card was involved.

I asked whose name was on the account as he said it was my name. I asked again whose name and he said D Maddison. When I say they don't live here he hung up. Obviously has some old phone records.

He wanted me to switch on computers and check broadband speed etc. Of course I did not comply and hung up.
