Got this phone call today, purporting to be from AXA Insurance. After reading other’s comments, have decided to ignore, as the real AXA website has valid phone numbers, if I need to check.

I’ve just been called from this number claiming to be my credit card fraud check. It mentions two extremely high transactions, not made by me, then to press 1 to authorise or 2 to talk to customer service. I didn’t, I hung up, checked all my cards. SCAM - automated message about national insurance, I did not answer and when I rang back - number not recognised, so definitely a scam call.
As an unrecognized call, the call went to answerphone and rang off as soon as the caller realized this, therefore leaving no message.
