Called today and ulikely to originate from the UK based on the poor line. The person kept using my first name (i.e., Mr A***). She told me she was calling about an accident I d had for which I wasn t at fault. I asked her if that was in the BMW and she said "Yes I think so"...I don t drive a BMW and have never owned one! I answered this number> Caller asked to speak to homeowner - I said "This is an unsolicited call and I don t accept them - take my name off your list please." caller said "okay, thank you"and put phone down - rings regularly and no-one there when I pick up - hope this is the end- so annoying.

This person called very late at night at 11 14 when I nearly fel asleep and had work next morning
Fraud Had text claiming to be be from Starling Bank - text came through on same message thread as previous verification code so I thought it was genuine. Text advised suspicious activity in my account for which they would be contacting by phone (which they did the next day) They already had lots of my identifying info and put me through other checks. They’d cleared thousands out of my account by the time I’d called Starling bank a few hours later.

Male voice with mild local accent (ie British) addressed me by name but spoke too quickly for me to identify his name / company. Started to talk about 'Goverment Scheme'. I suspected telemarketing concerning insulation , solar panels etc. so promptly hung up. Might have been a scammer but most likely modern equivalent of double glazing salesman.
