SPAM call. Pretending to be from Sky and asking if everything was ok with my service before telling me that my breakdown service has ended and that I paid £156 last year for the service, but he can give me a discount and for 1 year it would be £120 and for 2 years it would be £170. I told him 2 years sounded like a good deal (even though I never had a breakdown service with sky). I asked a simple question to him to confirm he is from Sky and it was “Can you tell me my name”. He hung up at this point.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers - unclaimed bank charges, PPI, uncalimed financial services. I would recommend to block the whole 08437243xxx range... Did someone answer this number?
Offered Great deals on holidays to the Cannery Islands. Friendly phone manner, called me back at a time I requested & left me names and contact details so I could call back (no pressure sales). Full company details and names were given when requested. It was a sales call but not Spam and really worth my time to listen
