Same experience as everyone else but unfortunately I am in some discussion with HMRC over some outstanding tax so I was initially taken in and did press option 1. They already knew my address and postcode ( not sure how ) and I was then stupid enough to give them my DOB before I smelled a rat and rang off. Unhappy that they now have some of my personal details.

Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked also different formats of this number, but no luck. Michael called, no idea what TP is and no explanation given, just that he has landlords for me. Which confuses me as surely a landlord would just contact me directly as an agent. Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 12179005xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with financial services, trading on-line (also reported from different countries - international call centre). Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...
