This is a dangerous fraud scam to gain access to your bank details. The caller is a recorded message telling you that your tax return has indicated that you have been found to have entered fraudulent details and will be fined or face jail. Then asks you to dial the number one to speak to a tax officer where they try to obtain your personal bank details to scam you. BEWARE

SCAM - from 07773 212931 - claimed £900 had been paid for online purchase from my visa debit card. Automated message starting “dear customer”. Told me to press 1 for fraud line to stop payment.

Government - Not sure whether true or not but was paranoid so hung up. Said my national insurance had been compromised.

Pretended to be from D&G home-appliance insurance. After the spiel he asked for our bank details and said it was impossible to send documentation through the post. I would guess that many people have been taken in by this.

SCAM Called and claimed to be from Vodafone and offered 40% discount for six months as a loyal customer Asked to confirm my name, address, email address. When I asked that I wanted to be sure they were from Vodafone, and they exclaimed "of course it is Vodafone" I said no thanks and hung up

SCAM - Claims to be a legitimate Loan company. Some how have my details emailed 'undisclosed recipients' and then CC in my email. I called the number back the other day to receive abuse calling me an f**cking b*tch etc because I asked them to stop calling me.

They told me there were from EE and tried to sell me a phone deals, so I'm not sure if someone is using the book shops number?

I had a phone call from 02922229992 clalming to be Eon, who asked if I wanted a 'Smart meter', they wanted my account details.... RED FLAG!!!!! Eon SHOULD have my account details - well, they certainly had my phone number. I contacted Eon and they told me to block the number it wan't them....! To be hones't I wondered if this was some dirty trick Eon had dreamed up - how would THEY know I had no Smart meter..... and how did they get my phone number, no prizes for guessing sorry. SCAM this number is sending out texts that are a potential scam - just received a message purporting to be from one of my sons. On checking with this website I find this number is in Manchester Uk, as was the number they asked me to WhatsApp. My son, on the other hand is nowhere even close to the Uk.

Pre recorded Scam call relating to unexpected withdrawals from a bank account. No name or bank mentioned. Asked for me to press 1 to confirm. That's a giveaway (red flag) as is the lack of personal details. I put the phone down immediately.

AUTOMATED CALL - SCAM Automated call saying there had been 2 attempts to pay for goods from my card, one of which was over £1000. Saying to complete my debit card details in order to prevent fraud. My bank would never leave a telephone message in such an event, and wouldn't ask for my bank details over the phone. Call was from Eastbourne

Claimed to be Visa ringing about fraudulent transactions on my account. First warning sign - Didn't know who I was. They should know whose account the transactions were on Second warning sign - As far as I'm aware Visa don't contact people direct, your card issuer will contact you. So it would have been Lloyds, Halifax, barclaycard, etc

Fraud A voice with an American accent told me they were from HRMC and I was "wanted" for fraud. They wanted me to call them...presumably to "help" me with this. I hung up as this is clearly not how the HMRC behaves and people are not "wanted" in this way in the UK.

Called around mid day to say my bank account had significant withdrawals and said press 2 to talk to an advisor. I suggested they did something physiologically impossible!

SCAM pretending to be debt people. When I said nice try, not falling for your scam. The guy laughed saying oh miss what scam would this be??? How many are they literally running!! Blocked!!
