Asked what devices I was using to access the internet. The scammer wasn t afraid to argue back aggressively when I told him in no uncertain terms I knew this was an attempt to hack in to the internet.

I normally avoid all 0161 numbers these days because they all seem to be unwanted but was handed this call without checking. I realise that there are legitimate callers from the Manchester area but none of these have called me in the last few years. Thanked the caller and rang off. They didn’t ring back!

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls - surveys, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8432632xxx range... People don't fall for it. Did someone answer any number of this range?
