recorded message saying someone stole my National insurance number and was using it for fraud.Telling me to press 1 and speak to one of thier officers otherwise my insurance number will be cancelled.I just put the phone down.
Phoned them back after numours calls and tried to sell me my same contract then asked if they can call back. STUPID

they hung up after I answered, I found out it is a Russian location but comes up as the UK on call.
Is this a scam?? "John" asked the question "Do you still have your driveway?". I asked why he wanted to know and he then thanked me for my time and hung up!!!!
Scam - robot saying there is a tax fraud case open in my name
Had a call from this number today. Automated voice message saying someone trying to use £800 from debit card for a gambling place in the USA. They said they was from the fraud team. It also said they were not letting that £800 to come off debit card until I had spoken to someone. It tells you to press 1 to speak to an agent. I didn't want to speak to anyone so I put the phone down. The Automated voice sounded very familiar. People please don't fall for this.

Telemarketers, usual nonsense, I suggest you just cut the call if answered by mistake, block them on the mobile or landline handset if you are able, if you do talk to them then of course ask for your details to be removed etc... Do not behave like the quarter wit above, screaming and shouting at them, it just makes you look like a complete and utter fool and an idiot and in truth there is no reason to behave in such a way, it acheives nothing in terms of getting you out of their database. Dopey Indian scammer trying to tell me there is something wrong with my internet, running the same old short con of getting the innocent victim to type in random commands to show something is supposedly wrong. This wasn t a particularly bright one either as only knew one cmd command before giving up. I ve had them go on up to half an hour in the past. Automated female bot asks if you ve been in an accident. I m suspicious that they are recording to phrase questions that encourage you to say yes and and then might edit that into a trap contract that you would never have agreed to in a million years. Hang up, don t answer, block the number. This kind of call should be illegal ...
Don't know keeps staying it Santander but rang bank and there carnt say it is or isn't then from the acutely Santander call site

I got a call at work and a female welsh voice said `I understand you are under 60 years old and therefore you qualify for a pensions bonus payment of £1,000 which you will receive within the next 60 days. Please press 5 to speak to us". Presumably yet another scam to try and get bank details or name and address
