thought it was a local call when number came up so I answered but hung before anyone spoke as soon as I could hear it was a call centre. Do these people not realise we're all capable of getting our own help if we need it and cold calling is intrusive?

Does someone have some experience with this one? Was trying also different formats of this number, but no luck. SCAM purports to be from Sky Media but the call is about my "Internet Connection which appears fine but isn't as multiple people are trying to access it right now" what utter BS! He was told as much as well, maybe if these conmen weren't struggling to read their scripts and calling supposed customers 'dude' and 'mate' it would be slightly more believable, utter scumbags... I hope they get traced and fined!

SCAM Said they were ringing me from the UK Benefit Department. As soon as I said they weren't they hung up. These are the same people who say they work for Beneficial/ring about a road traffic accident in the last 2 years/ring about your life insurance policy or any other thing they can think of to try to get sensitive information out of you. They never succeed with me but yet they keep trying almost every day.
