a Text Message, allegedly form HSBC to inform me that I had authorised a payment to a Mr C Jones and to contact a specified web page if I had not authorised. I have no HSBC account

Asian person saying will only take a minute just wanted to ask a few questions. normally i just hang up but for some reason i didnt. asked me what my brand of tv is, how much i spend on holidays, who my electricty is with, my income bracket where i would go on holiday. dont think they are con artist, just gathering data so more companies can send you spam...should have hung up! waste of 2 minutes

Call today from "The Review Team" about life insurance. When asked where they had got my number from they stated I had looked into life insurance on a comparison web site and given them permission. This company have been working on recovering my ppi since 2012, on various accounts/loans/store cards. I have had no problems with them. They have settled 3 accounts for me todate and are still working on a couple. Great value for money as they do all the donky work for the fee that I paid them for.
