They have been calling a lot these past few days, but when I answer they always hang up. My guess is that they try to trick you into calling them back, otherwise I can t explain what s the use of harassing people like that?!

this number just rung saying they can offer an early upgrade to my contract with Three (I m actually with three), but the man new nothing about my contract and asked me how much I spent on average on my phone. If it was a genuine call regarding offering me an upgrade for my existing contract he would at least knew how much I spent every month! Then he hanged up. The man with a distinctly foreign accent said that he was from a Broadband provider that uses the 4G network £25 a month for 18 months. But what put me off was as soon as he had finished his schpeel he asked without prompt for my bank details. I said I would get back to him next week when I had done some research into the company.

SPAM: upon answering a recorded message played to state my NI number could be suspended due to my phone number having been associated with several illegal activities and I could be arrested and assets seized. The next prompt was to press 1 to speak to an officer. Needless to say I didn’t do anything of the sort and came straight here to report it!

Indian female, claiming to be from O2. I hung up without saying anything. Been getting calls every day from this supposed Bournemouth number. These scammers have obviously obtained a batch of similar numbers, as yesterday it was from 01202080470. These calls have been coming in coincidental to me using for the first time, a free photo printing service called 'FreePrints' where you pay just for the postage. I could be wrong, but it is highly suspicious, as I never usually get spam calls.
