Suspected scam call from TMA claiming I was involved in a car accident. I do not own a car and hung up.

it;s the usual lowlife trying desperately trying to rob me of my pension pot. I'd like them to have a go at my bank, I'd get rid of my overdraft then! Seriously I consider ALL of these calls Dangerous, each and every one of them are lowlife robbers so how can they be anything less than dangerous ? Probably a scam. Recorded message talked of transaction on my account (what account?) being halted as it was an unusual transaction, and to press 1 to call back.

They said they were calling from HMRC adout a returned tax letter and that I was going to be prosecuted.

Cold called me and said I had asked for a home owner loan - I had not. When challenged there was an excuse ready regarding a re-dial but this did not seem remotely plausible. I suspect it’s a Phishing/Finance scam - please beware!

Caller claimed to be from BT technical services. She told me that there were a number of people using my internet connection and there numerous errors. I asked her for the error numbers and how did they know and my husband was to blame for using naughty sites - she rang off, saying that I could chose to believe or not.

Fraud. Will firstly state on an automated voice it’s from HM revenue and they’re going to take action against you. Press 1 to speak to an officer etc.. foreign guy picks up asking how he can help, state they called me? And then they hang up. Absolutely fraud!

Number 02071124802 phoned me and said they was from start up loans. www.startuploans.co.uk and wanted me to transfer them £58 for the loan to be secured under the insurance. They provided me with a person called Jamin bank details which straight away is strange for a company. I was told it was the managers details as money transferred to the company always bounces back. SCAM Variation on the number. I just took a call from 02080798023 - same thing claiming to be from O2 offering 50% discount. I told him scamming people him will catch up with him. He dropped the line. Blocked and reported.

Was called this morning about 10am was a recorded message, saying we need your authority to pass payment to amazon of £500, and also about a £1000 that needs authorising, the recorded message was crackling and hard to hear all but i just hung up. then did 1471 to see who it was as they made out it was my bank wanting authorisation.

SCAM I was text by number 07311 255050 by someone pretending to be my child in trouble asking me to WhatsApp them on this number 07564739632. DO NOT give these people money. If your child isn’t with you, call them in their original number to see if they’re ok. This is fake and a scam.
